What we publish

Calculators and converters for everyday arithmetic: units, percentages, dates and times, school math and practical household sums. We do not publish financial, tax, medical, dosage or health calculators, because those answers depend on rules and personal circumstances a general tool cannot know.

How a page is made

  1. The calculation is written as a small code module with automated tests against known values from the defining source.
  2. The explanation is drafted: method, formula, worked examples, reference table and common mistakes for that specific tool.
  3. Every number in the text is recomputed with the same code before publication.
  4. A reviewer who did not write the page checks the arithmetic, the claims, the sources and the wording.
  5. The page shows the date it was last reviewed.

Use of AI assistance

We use AI writing tools to help draft explanations and to check code. Drafts are reviewed and edited by the Units Converter Editorial Team, every figure is recomputed by tested code, and every source is opened and checked before a page goes live. AI is not used to generate pages in bulk, and no page is published without review.

Sources

Definitions come from primary sources wherever they exist: the International Bureau of Weights and Measures (BIPM), the US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), ISO standards, official legislation and government agencies. Each page lists its sources at the end. We do not copy text, tables or exercises from other websites.

Corrections

If you find an error, email contact@letayer.llc. We check reports promptly, fix confirmed errors in both the code and the text, update the review date and, where a result could have been wrong, add a short correction note to the page.

Independence

Advertising pays for the site. Advertisers do not influence which tools we build or what we write, ads are labeled, and they are never placed next to inputs, results or buttons.

Bylines

Pages are credited to the Units Converter Editorial Team because each one is planned, written and reviewed by more than one person.
